What started off as a joint venture between EMUGE-Werk Richard Glimpel GmbH & Co KG and Precomp Tools Pvt. Ltd. in 2000 styled as EMUGE India Pvt. Ltd., became a 100% subsidiary of the EMUGE-FRANKEN Group in 2012. Today, EMUGE-FRANKEN India (EFIN), is a robust team of almost 200 employees partnering with close to 36 channel partners across India to offer our solutions seamlessly! Catering to varied industrial sectors like Automotive, Aerospace, Power, Die & Mould, Medical and General Engineering, EFIN has become a trend-setter and leading name in the field of threading, milling and drilling technology; form tools; customized tooling solutions and tool and work holding systems. EFIN has carved a niche for itself in the Indian manufacturing industry as a reliable solution provider in the most cost and time effective way to its customers.
The manufacturing facility set up in Kondhanpur, near Pune, equipped with modern machinery and inspection instruments complying with the highest standards expected by us, has been assuring the best quality and consistent performance of the tools manufactured in the country. Milestones that have shaped EMUGE-FRANKEN India Pvt. Ltd.
- Incorporated on December 1, 1998, and the first plant was inaugurated on August 28, 2000.
- Inaugurated Plant II for manufacturing tap holders on October 5, 2011.
- Emuge India Pvt. Ltd. became a 100% subsidiary of the EMUGE-FRANKEN Group in 2012.
- Change of name from Emuge India Pvt. Ltd. to EMUGE-FRANKEN India Pvt. Ltd. on August 3, 2016.
- Plant III was inaugurated on August 3, 2018, by the Group Chairman Mr. Helmut Glimpel.
- EMUGE-FRANKEN Group completed 100 years since its establishment in Lauf (Germany) on May 20, 2020.
- Inaugurated its carbide tools manufacturing division on July 18, 2024.
