LAMIERA, the premier international exhibition for sheet metal forming and cutting, returns from May 6-9, 2025, at fieramilano Rho. The event, presented to the global press in Hannover, was led by Filippo Gasparini, vice president of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, and Riccardo Gaslini, exhibition manager.
Now in its 23rd edition, LAMIERA shifts to a Tuesday-Friday schedule to align with global industry events. As Italy’s exclusive fair dedicated to metal forming technologies, it showcases cutting-edge innovations, from machines and equipment to software for automation, data management, and robotics. Special exhibition themes include FABBRICA FUTURA (digital systems), SALDATECH (welding), FASTENER INDUSTRY, HEAT AND SURFACE TREATMENTS, METROLOGY & TESTING, and BLECH ITALY SERVICE. A new feature, the Revamping & Retrofitting area, will highlight refurbished equipment.
Despite a challenging 2024, recovery in the global machine tool industry is expected in 2025, with world consumption projected to grow by 6.9%. Italy remains a leader, ranked second in production and exports. LAMIERA aims to solidify its position as a key platform for showcasing Italy’s strengths and attracting international participants.
The event promises a comprehensive experience with industry discussions, foreign delegations, and educational initiatives.
