Cabinet Approves ₹14,000-Crore Green Mobility Initiative
In a significant boost to green mobility, the cabinet has approved a ₹10,900-crore incentive scheme for promoting electric mobility, which includes 25 lakh two-wheelers. Additionally, ₹3,435 crore will support the uninterrupted operation of over 38,000 electric buses across various cities and towns.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor to Establish New Plant
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been allocated 827 acres of land for a new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. TKM signed an agreement with the state government on July 31 to set up a greenfield facility for electric and hybrid cars.

Hyundai Motor India Plans Major Investment
Hyundai Motor India is set to invest ₹32,000 crore in the country over the next decade (2023-2032), with an immediate investment of ₹6,000 crore in its Pune unit, according to Unsoo Kim of Hyundai Motor India.
