Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF)
The Defence Ministry has signed a Rs 1,561 crore contract with Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF), Avadi, Chennai, to supply 47 T-72 bridge-laying tanks (BLT) to enhance the Indian Army’s mobility in battle zones. This initiative supports self-reliance in defence manufacturing.

JSW Defence
JSW Defence has signed an agreement with the Telangana government to establish a facility for manufacturing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). JSW UAV, a wholly-owned subsidiary, is investing Rs 800 crore in Telangana through a technology partnership with a US-based defence firm.
