This was the powerful question that set the stage for The G.R.O.W.T.H. Dialogue—Gathering Resources and Opportunities for Workforce Transformation & Humanity—hosted by Phillips Education and Arthan on 18th September 2025 at Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai.

At a time when India is racing toward ambitious milestones—a $64B semiconductor market by 2026, a $70B aerospace & defence sector by 2030, and 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030—the conversation around future-ready skills is not optional; it’s urgent.

The dialogue brought together 40+ leaders from government, industry, academia, CSR foundations, and social impact funds, including:
Shri Saurabh Bahuguna, Hon’ble Minister for Skill Development & Employment, Uttarakhand, Rakshit Kejriwal , Dr Commander Devendra Singh, PhD Flight Test Engineer/Scientist, R&D Director, Aerospace & Defence, VTU Satyam Vyas

Key Insights:

a) By 2030, 44% of today’s skills will be obsolete (World Economic Forum).
b) Effective skilling could add $500B to India’s GDP (McKinsey).
c) A single modern aircraft requires 40 lakh precision parts, while India faces an estimated 15 lakh talent gap in defence cybersecurity by 2026.

The message was clear: India’s demographic dividend can only translate into global leadership if we invest in specialized skills for aerospace, defence, semiconductors, renewables, and AI.

As Rakshit Kejriwal put it: “India’s growth story will be defined by how effectively we prepare our workforce for the future. At Phillips Education, we are committed to equipping India’s youth with the skills of tomorrow. For this, we urgently need a National Skilling Coalition.”

The G.R.O.W.T.H. Dialogue was more than an event—it was a call to action to align policy, industry, and education in building a workforce that powers India’s rise as a global superpower.
