British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution, is poised to invest an additional $300 million in India’s electric vehicle sector over the next three years. BII has already committed around $300 million to the Indian EV market and sees significant growth potential in EV manufacturing within the country.
Ather Energy Expands with New Plant in Aurangabad
Ather Energy, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is set to establish its third plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The new facility, which will be constructed on a 100-acre site near Bidkin town, is expected to enhance Ather’s production capacity significantly. The agreement for the plant is anticipated to be finalized soon.

JSW Group Raises Investment Target to $70 Billion by 2030
The JSW Group has revised its investment goal to $70 billion by 2030, which includes a $5 billion investment in electric vehicle projects in Odisha announced earlier this year. The Group’s expanded investment plans also cover growth in its steel, cement, and electricity generation sectors.
