Precision Engineering Technologies (PETECH), a group company of Phillips Machine Tools, has announced a strategic collaboration with WFL Millturn Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, a global leader in complete machining solutions. The partnership aims to strengthen access to advanced multifunctional machining technologies for Indian manufacturers, enabling higher precision, improved productivity, and simplified manufacturing processes.
Through this collaboration, Indian manufacturers will gain greater access to WFL’s globally proven MILLTURN complete machining platforms, supported by PETECH’s strong application engineering expertise, customer engagement, and service network.
WFL’s MILLTURN concept integrates multiple machining processes—such as turning, milling, drilling, and measurement—into a single machine setup. This “Clamp once, machine complete” philosophy reduces multiple setups, improves dimensional accuracy, shortens production lead times, and increases overall manufacturing efficiency.
According to Nitin Mehra, President, Precision Engineering Technologies, Indian manufacturers are rapidly moving toward high-precision production environments. He noted that the collaboration will help customers adopt globally benchmarked complete machining technologies while benefiting from strong local engineering and service support.
