The pre-silicon simulation environment enables automotive manufacturers to streamline software development processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate innovation, ultimately leading to faster time-to-market for Software Defined Vehicles.

Siemens Digital Industries Software unveils a pre-silicon simulation environment on the cloud, a part of its PAVE360™ software suite, tailored for Software Defin

By integrating partner solutions into the cloud-based platform, tier-one suppliers and OEMs can commence early software development for Arm’s Cortex-A720AE IP, eliminating the need to wait for silicon availability. This advancement allows automotive software teams to conduct rapid cloud-based simulations for iterative pre-silicon software development, debugging, and validation, significantly accelerating time-to-market for SDV software.

Mike Ellow, Executive Vice President of Electronic Design Automation at Siemens Digital Industries Software, emphasized the importance of collaboration with Arm, stating that it addresses industry challenges by reducing time-to-market for SDV software through accelerated automotive platforms before silicon availability.

The cloud-based solution, accessible to select partners, offers simulation speeds comparable to evaluation boards, eliminating the need for on-premises modeling and simulation infrastructures.
