The next era of industrial quality took center stage on 19th November at Taj Vivanta, Pune, as CARL ZEISS hosted its highly anticipated Quality Innovation Summit 2025, built around the forward-looking theme “The Future of Metrology.”
THE MACHINING WORLD EXPRESS was on-ground to capture this landmark gathering.
Far from being just a backend inspection step, metrology is rapidly becoming a strategic driver of precision, efficiency, safety, and digital transformation. At the summit, ZEISS demonstrated how advanced measurement technologies are reshaping production across NEV and automotive, medical devices, aerospace, electronics, energy, machinery, and metalworking sectors.
The event showcased breakthrough developments, including next-generation optical, tactile, and X-ray systems; AI-enabled connected quality ecosystems such as ZEISS PiWeb; automation-ready inspection workflows; and new product launches designed to solve real manufacturing challenges. Live demos allowed participants to see how these innovations enhance speed, accuracy, and decision-making on the shop floor.
A strong lineup of industry leaders delivered deep insights into global and Indian quality trends. Speakers included Robert Zarnetta on global IQS strategy, Aveen Padmaprabha on India’s quality outlook, Rajesh Nath (VDMA India) on megatrends, and technology perspectives from Chandra Mouli (SEG Automotive), Manoj Meena (Atomberg), and Kapil Baidya (Energy in Motion).
The summit concluded with an interactive booth tour and high-energy networking, reinforcing ZEISS’s role in shaping India’s next decade of advanced manufacturing.
