Rs 18,500 Crore Investment in PM MITRA Parks
The Ministry of Textiles has signed investment MoUs worth over Rs 18,500 crore for the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks. This initiative is part of the government’s push to boost textile manufacturing by developing world-class infrastructure in seven selected states.
The ministry’s year-end review highlighted progress in water, power, and road infrastructure development, with Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) working to accelerate implementation. The PM MITRA Parks will position India as a global textile hub, attract foreign and domestic investments, and generate massive employment opportunities.
