The Indian Cutting Tools Manufacturers’ Association (ICTMA) successfully organised its Member Meet & Knowledge Conclave 2026 on 5th June 2026 at Oerlikon Balzers Coating India Pvt. Ltd., Pune. The event brought together 50+ attendees, including ICTMA members, cutting tool manufacturers, machine tool professionals, and representatives from leading end-user manufacturing companies for an evening of insightful discussions and industry networking.
The programme was inaugurated by Anil Kumar, President, ICTMA and Managing Director, Plansee India High Performance Materials Ltd., along with Pravin Shirse, Vice President, ICTMA and Country President, Oerlikon Balzers Coating India Pvt. Ltd. (India & Asia). The event was coordinated by P. G. Subramanian, Executive Secretary, ICTMA. The session was thoughtfully moderated by Mr. Mangesh Awate, General Manager, Zecha Precision Tools Ltd., facilitating meaningful interactions among the participants. The conclave featured expert sessions on key industry topics. Mr. Adish Keskar, Director, USPI, spoke on Securing Critical Materials in India’s Tooling Ecosystem. Mr. P. G. Subramanian shared valuable insights on The New Labour Codes, while Mr. Abhishek Gami, Managing Director, Rapicut Carbides Limited, delivered an engaging session on Recycling & Sustainability in Manufacturing.
The importance of future-ready talent was highlighted by Mrs. Sandhya Jahagirdar from HALTEN Centre of Excellence, who spoke on Skill Development for the New Era of Manufacturing Excellence.
The event also witnessed the participation of ICTMA Executive Committee members, including Ramakant Reddy, Santosh Ullal and industry supporters like Mangesh Awate, and Rajiv Malhotra – Chief Operating Officer, Motherson Techno Tools Limited. The conclave concluded with the felicitation of speakers and a vote of thanks, reaffirming ICTMA’s commitment to promoting knowledge sharing, industry collaboration, and the sustainable growth of India’s cutting tools and precision manufacturing ecosystem
