As India accelerates investments in advanced manufacturing, electronics production, and AI-driven industrial transformation, Automation Expo 2026 has become one of the country’s premier platforms for industrial innovation. Against this backdrop, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion emerged as a key destination for manufacturers seeking intelligent automation technologies that enable smarter, more connected and sustainable factories.

The timing is particularly significant. Just days before the exhibition, the Government of India announced the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0 and the Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme (MPMS), committing nearly US$20 billion to strengthen India’s semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Beyond semiconductor fabrication, these initiatives are expected to accelerate investments in industrial automation, AI edge computing, precision machinery, robotics, factory digitalisation and advanced manufacturing technologies—creating new opportunities for technology providers across the entire manufacturing value chain.

Complementing long-standing initiatives such as Make in India and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme, these policies are driving India’s transition towards intelligent manufacturing and reinforcing demand for smart factory solutions, industrial AI, and digital transformation technologies. Taiwan Excellence brings together many of these enabling capabilities, positioning Taiwanese companies as valuable partners in India’s next phase of industrial development.

Showcasing Taiwan’s Manufacturing Innovation

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion featured 22 award-winning Taiwanese brands showcasing more than 55 innovative products and integrated solutions across three major themes:

  • AI Edge Computing
  • Robotics & Smart Automation
  • Industrial Equipment & Components

Throughout the four-day exhibition, visitors experienced live demonstrations, interacted with industry experts, and explored technologies designed to improve productivity, precision, operational intelligence and manufacturing sustainability. The pavilion illustrated how Taiwanese innovations are helping manufacturers build resilient, AI-enabled factories capable of meeting the demands of modern industrial production.

Building Sustainable Manufacturing with Taiwan’s Adaptive Solutions

A highlight of the exhibition was the Taiwan Excellence Product Launch, themed “Building Sustainable Manufacturing with Taiwan’s Adaptive Solutions.” Four leading Taiwanese companies—HIWIN, IBASE, SINTRONES, and SYNTEC—introduced their latest industrial technologies, demonstrating how AI, intelligent automation and edge computing are enabling manufacturers to enhance productivity, strengthen supply chain resilience, minimise downtime and accelerate digital transformation.

HIWIN – Precision That Powers Modern Manufacturing

Precision is at the heart of every successful manufacturing process, and HIWIN continues to push those boundaries through advanced motion control and automation technologies.

HIWIN showcased its latest HRCR-KK Cartesian Robot Series, an innovative solution designed to simplify automation through faster installation, reduced engineering time, and enhanced operational efficiency. Alongside its comprehensive portfolio of linear motion, robotics, and semiconductor automation solutions, HIWIN demonstrates how precision engineering can help industries build smarter and perform better.

IBASE – Intelligence at the Edge

IBASE showcased two of its flagship Edge AI computing solutions, AMI240 and ARS200, designed to power the next generation of smart manufacturing.

The AMI240 demonstrated high-performance edge computing for AIoT applications with support for 5G connectivity, real-time data processing, and reliable industrial operation. Meanwhile, the ARS200 highlighted its rugged, IP65-rated design and dependable performance for industrial automation, intelligent transportation, and other mission-critical environments.

Together, these solutions showcased how IBASE is helping manufacturers build smarter, more connected, and efficient industrial operations.

SINTRONES – Edge AI for Industrial Intelligence

SINTRONES showcased its IBOX-650P-IP66-2S/DIO, a rugged Edge AI computer powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ platform.

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the IP66-rated, fanless system delivers high-performance AI computing with support for advanced connectivity and real-time data processing. Built for applications across industrial automation, intelligent transportation, and autonomous systems, the IBOX-650P-IP66-2S/DIO demonstrated how rugged Edge AI solutions are helping industries improve efficiency, reliability, and operational intelligence.

SYNTEC – Driving the Future of Smart Manufacturing

SYNTEC showcased its 22MA Compact CNC Pro and LC1000-10-H AutoMate Pro Cobot, highlighting solutions designed to make automation more accessible and efficient.

The 22MA Compact CNC Pro demonstrated precision machining in a compact, space-efficient design, making it ideal for small businesses and workshops. The LC1000-10-H AutoMate Pro Cobot showcased collaborative automation with high payload capacity, intuitive programming, and reliable performance for industrial applications.

Together, these solutions reflected SYNTEC’s commitment to helping manufacturers improve productivity through intelligent, flexible, and future-ready automation technologies.
